The Small Business Development Center at the University of Louisiana at Monroe will be sponsoring a free two-hour workshop "Finding Business Opportunities: Starting/Financing Your Own Business," Tuesday, Sept. 14, at the Macon Ridge Economic Development Region, 903 Louisiana in Ferriday. The workshop will be from 6 to 8 p.m.

The workshop will assist individuals who are thinking about starting a small business with identifying, assessing and developing ideas for self-employment and small business opportunities.

Individuals who have just started their own business, are interested in obtaining a small business loan, want to determine feasibility, or want to learn more about business planning and financing, will find the workshop beneficial.
