Professional Learning Center for Faculty & Staff is a division of Academic Affairs and is located at 120 Walker Hall. Services currently provided include: professional learning for both faculty and staff, instructional support through Canvas implementation and Quality Matters review, and organizing campus events to support a positive workplace climate.

The Director of the Professional Learning Center for Faculty & Staff is Dr. Allison J. Bailey, a ULM Alumni. She is joining ULM from Nebraska where she served as the Gear Up Director and the University System of Georgia as an Online Course Design Subject Matter expert and professor. Dr. Bailey is nationally certified in Quality Matters, is a Gallup Strength Coach, and recipient of the 2020 University System of Georgia  recipient of the eHero Faculty Award and the 2018 NSF Trelis Award for women in Geosciences. Stephanie Hendry is the Instructional Technical Specialist for the Facility. She is migrating into this new role from the ULM Online department and will provide direct support to faculty as they develop their courses in the learning management system and will coordinate mentoring programs for staff.
