Innovative Practices: Women Expanding Access to Care

  9:15 am - 10:00 am
As society focuses more on mental health awareness, women are embracing methods of self-care and constructing boundaries around their professional and personal lives. As women are statistically more likely to experience depression and anxiety, not to mention increased societal expectations, seeking treatment via therapy is a means of focusing on our own well-being and identifying accessible mental health resources. Our panelists include counselors and a Marriage and Family Therapy ULM student, here to answer your questions about the benefits of mental health counseling and the opportunities for women in this career space.
