Molecular Biology Core Facility

The University of Louisiana Monroe Molecular Biology Core Facility houses a variety of analytical instrumentation to support the research of ULM faculty and students. The facility is located in the ULM School of Pharmacy Bienville Building. The facility also has a teaching laboratory that can be used for graduate lab courses.

ULM faculty and students should contact the Core Lab Manager for information on scheduling and training.

Non-ULM researchers can obtain fee-based use of the facility. Please contact one of the facility co-directors for further information.

Mission

The mission of the University of Louisiana Monroe Molecular Biology Core Facility is to provide a resource that will promote the scientific research of ULM faculty and students by ensuring access, training and maintenance of shared research instrumentation; and encouraging and stimulating research collaborations.

 

 

Vision

The vision of the University of Louisiana Monroe Molecular Biology Core Facility is to function as a cooperatively managed core instrumentation facility that effectively maximizes the use and utility of University research resources, facilitates the acquisition of new or updated research instrumentation, and enhances faculty research success and graduate training.
