Hard copies of the manual are located at various departments on campus.  Due to the nature of the safety manual, it is frequently updated.  Therefore, most hard copies will not reflect the most recent changes to the university safety manual.  The hard copies can be used as a reference, but the most up to date information can be found at the online version of the safety manual.

For departments whose employees do not have access to the internet, their supervisor is responsible for making the safety manual accessible to these employees.  The environmental health & safety officer will notify these departments of changes to the safety manual as they occur.  It is suggested that these departments keep a printed copy of the safety manual and keep the hard copy updated as the manual changes.

Content

The content of the ULM safety manual includes all pertinent university policies concerning safety issues.  For further information please see the table of contents for the ULM safety manual.

Use

The safety manual should be used as a reference for ULM employees to refer to for pertinent safety policies and safety information.
