Each year, ULM conducts PREP, a summer orientation for incoming students. It's a great way to learn about student life and get an early start on your college career!
The first week of the fall semester is more than the first week of class, but is celebrated with a number of events welcoming everyone to campus! It's also a great time to get to know your fellow classmates and enjoy campus life.
Browse on the Bayou is held every fall & spring, it is a great opportunity to take a look around, talk to professors, explore the university and discover what ULM has to offer you
Being a ULM Warhawk is more than just classes, it's about theatrical productions, guest speakers, amazing concerts, fun student events and more!
Generally, students with less than 18 college credit hours or coming straight from
high school are considered undergraduate incoming freshman. Students who have attended college with more than 18 credit hours are transfer students, unless they have already earned a bachelor's degree or higher. Students seeking
a master's or doctoral degree apply as graduate students.
ULM's international student community is growing, for more information specific to international admissions, see the international student site.
