ADMISSIONS CRITERIA FOR TRANSFER STUDENTS

Students who have earned a minimum overall grade-point average of 2.00 from a regionally accredited institution will be considered for admission:

    • if they have completed at least 12 semester hours of college-level credit above the remedial level and require no more than one developmental course.
    • students who have completed fewer than 12 semester hours of college credit must meet ULM freshman admission requirements.

ADMISSIONS PROCESS FOR TRANSFER STUDENTS

    • Complete and submit the Application for Admission with the appropriate application fee.
    • Submit completed Proof of Immunization form.
    • Request official transcripts from all previous college work (except ULM) to be mailed to: The University of Louisiana Monroe, Office of Recruitment/Admissions, Monroe, LA 71209. Students under current suspension and those who cannot furnish official transcripts are not eligible to enroll at ULM.
    • Students who completed less than 12 semester hours of college credit must request that ULM receive your official ACTor SAT test scores and official high school transcript.

All students are encouraged to apply for admission. Students not meeting the above criteria will be considered for admission based on an individualized evaluation of their likelihood of success at ULM. Visit our website at admit.ulm.edu.

Housing information will be mailed after acceptance to the University.
