Do Not Flush Advisory - Sept 22

The city and ULM maintenance crews have been experiencing an alarming number of clogged drains and pipes recently because of foreign material being flushed down the toilets or poured down drains. The pipes in these systems are designed to handle water, human waste, and tissue paper only.

Examples of what should not be flushed down toilets or poured down drains include but not limited to:

We thank you in advance for your cooperation.
