The Don Weems Memorial Chili Cook-Offis a beloved annual tradition that brings togetheralumni, students, faculty, and the community fora day of food, fun, and friendly competition. Hosted annually by the ULM Alumni Association and Student Development, The Good Morning Gala is a signature Homecoming event that celebrates distinguished alumni and campus traditions. This elegant brunch honors recipients of the Rising Young Alumni and Golden Arrow Awards—individuals recognized for their commitment, advocacy, and service to the Alumni Association and the University. The program also features the presentation of Homecoming Royalty, recognition of Golden Society inductees, and a special tribute to Spirit Group alumni, making it a heartfelt celebration of Warhawk pride and legacy. |

The Golden Society honors ULM alumni who graduated 50 or more years ago, celebrating their lifelong connection to the University and their lasting legacy. Members are recognized for their enduring support, spirit, and commitment to ULM, and are formally inducted during Homecoming festivities. This milestone tradition reflects the pride, history, and loyalty of Warhawks across generations. |
Grad Finale is a one-stop celebration and resource event for graduating ULM seniors. Hosted each semester, it provides students with everything they need to prepare for commencement—from purchasing caps and gowns to connecting with Alumni Affairs, Career Services, and other campus partners. It’s a key step in the transition from student to proud ULM alum. |

Wine Over Water is a party on the beautiful ULM campus and Bayou DeSiard Bridge. Attendees enjoy food sampling from your favorite local restaurants, wine & beer tastings, live entertainment, boat rides, and more! Proceeds from Wine Over Water support "The Spirit of The Warhawk" scholarship and Alumni Programing. Wine Over Water is an alumni and community event—an elegant evening held on the picturesque ULM bridge overlooking beautiful Bayou DeSiard. Guests enjoy a curated selection of fine wines, hors d'oeuvres from local restaurants, live music, and stunning sunset views. Through the Lens of Tianyu Wang: Shaanxi Province in the 1960s-2000s presents a firsthand visual account of this transitional era and showcases the intersection
of art and historical record via the medium of photojournalism. In Mr. Wang’s own
words, photography presents a way to “remember our brilliant history in order to motivate
us to make progress in the future”.
The exhibition will run from February 12, 2026 - May 15, 2026. ULM students and the Monroe/West Monroe community are invited to connect with the people, history, and culture of Shaanxi Province by visiting the gallery. |
