Dental Hygiene Clinic

The University of Louisiana at Monroe Dental Hygiene Clinic evaluates, treats and prevents common oral health diseases such as gingivitis and periodontal disease. The clinic is located in Caldwell Hall and has served the surrounding northeast community for over 45 years.
The dental hygiene clinic provides an opportunity for patients to seek routine oral
health care.
Under the direct supervision of licensed dental hygienists and dentists, students evaluate and treat patients. All faculty members are licensed by the Louisiana State Board of Dentistry(LBSD).
Clinic Fees
Dental Hygiene treatment is not provided free of charge. However, as a teaching instution, ULM's fees are lower than that in private practice. Payment is expected at the time of service. Cash, personal checks, credit and debit cards are accepted. Private insurance is not accepted in lieu of payment.
Fees: Adult $30.00
child (17 and under) $23.00
Screening: $3.00
The ULM Dental Hygiene Clinic attempts to keep fees as low as possible. However, rising costs of providing care may require fee increases. You will always be notified of the fee prior to any treatment.
It is against clinic policy for students to pay for any patient treatment.
