The community and campus family are invited to attend this fun-filled holiday celebration sponsored by the ULM Student Government Association.

The evening will begin in Brown Auditorium with a holiday concert featuring ULM Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA) students and faculty.

The annual “lighting of the campus” will take place after the concert, in front of Brown Hall.

Laura Knotts, director of Student Life and Leadership said, “The concert being first this year will help everyone get into the holiday spirit right before lighting the campus.”

The indoor concert will feature ULM VAPA ensembles including, the ULM Wind Ensemble, conducted by Dr. Jason Rinehart, and the ULM Concert Choir and Chamber Singers conducted by Dr. Deborah Chandler.

During the outdoor festivities, Ace will visit with guests and hand out treats to the children, while the VAPA ensembles lead the crowd in a holiday sing-a-long.

Hot cocoa and cider will also be provided.

The event follows the annual Employee Holiday Reception in the ULM Conference Center from 3–5 p.m., hosted by ULM President Nick and First Lady Linda Bruno.
