KEDM News Director Bob Lenox moderates the discussion. A panel of experts includes Mayor of Monroe Jamie Mayo, President of Monroe-West Monroe Convention & Visitors Bureau Alana Cooper, and realtor John Rea.

The panelists will provide insight on the arena study and look forward to the economic impact of construction in several areas of the city.

“Many people are excited about the idea of a new arena. At this early stage, the discussion will help community members with a better understanding of the proposal,” says Lenox.

The “Policy and a Pint” series is designed to provide access to experts on community issues in a casual setting.

“Policy and a Pint is a chance to ask questions on topics that matter to our area. The conversation is robust, but the style is informal,” says KEDM General Manager Jay Curtis.

The forum is free and open to the public.

KEDM Public Radio—located at 250 Stubbs Hall on the University of Louisiana at Monroe campus—is a community partner dedicated to improving the quality of life in the listening area.
