The Louisiana Small Business Development Center at the University of Louisiana at
Monroe will host its third annual Small Business Expo from noon to 3 p.m., on Saturday,
Aug. 15, at the Monroe Convention Center.
Small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs seeking information on how to increase
sales and gain visibility in the market are encouraged to attend.
The event brings together state and federal agencies, financial institutions, and
entrepreneurs from across northeast Louisiana under one roof.
A panel of small business and industry experts will be available to answer questions
about starting, managing, and growing a successful small business.
Representatives will also discuss how to: access capital, apply for alternative financing,
attract new customers, sell your goods and services, gain visibility in your market,
and acquire industry specific training.
More than two-dozen local businesses will showcase their products and services during
an hour-long exhibition.
