Kimberly Mayberry, Siddhartha Dhakal and Terri Honore

participated in the ULS Academic Summit.

 Three University of Louisiana Monroe students participated in the Sixth Annual University of Louisiana System's Academic Summit held at Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond March 30-31.

They were social work students Terri Honore and Kimberly Mayberry in the service learning category and Siddhartha Dhakal in biology. Also accepted for a poster presentation was Nicholas Slaughter who was unable to attend the summit. 

 The ULS Academic Summit includes the nine ULS universities. The conference brings together students to focus on undergraduate research and service-learning. Scholars present their research, creativity and innovation.
