Fall 2020 COVID-19 Update

Published August 07, 2020

Welcome back to the fall semester of 2020!

This is unlike any semester we have ever experienced in the past. The current coronavirus epidemic is evolving, and we are following the best guidance available. The information below is critical to our success:

  • Governor Edwards announced that we will remain in phase 2 for 21 more days beyond today, until at least August 28.

  • In keeping with the mandate, face coverings are required of everyone in ULM buildings this fall as well as outside if a 6’ distance cannot be maintained.

  • Stay up to date on ULM COVID-19 announcements and updates here: https://www.ulm.edu/coronavirus/

  • Protocols for reporting your case, quarantine, etc. can be found here: https://www.ulm.edu/safety/covid19.html

  • See attached “Return to Work Guidance” for the latest advice from the Louisiana Department of Health.

  • See attached “Return to School Certification” and submit to the ULM Health Clinic at 1140 University Ave upon your return if you have had COVID-19 symptoms and/or a positive test.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks,

Shane Dykes
