Virtual Campus Tour

MONROE, LA– The University of Louisiana Monroe unveiled its newly developed interactive recruitment tool on January 19. The new virtual campus tour supports ULM Recruitment in giving students a new, easy way to access the campus. One feature of this new experience is an interactive map that will be useful for current students as well.

The new virtual campus tour is designed to help prospective students throughout all stages of their recruitment. It gives students access to virtually engage with the campus before touring or if they cannot visit campus.

Lisa Miller, ULM’s Vice President of Enrollment Management and University Relations, says the new virtual campus tour will allow ULM to expand recruitment efforts far and wide. “The execution and implementation of this new digital platform have been a collaborative effort across departments,” said Miller. “We know that during the recruitment process, if we can attract a student to our beautiful campus for a campus tour, and allow them to meet our faculty, staff, and students, the prospective student loves what ULM has to offer. This tool provides them with a virtual opportunity which will entice them to the campus,” she added.

The new virtual campus tour offers several elements for students to find their interests on ULM’s campus. The webpage features videos sharing insight on student organizations, services, internships and clinicals, scholarships, and admissions. Each photo and video provides a summary and a link to various pages. Students can take a virtual tour by clicking on each location, which will feature a description and pictures of the buildings.

“The new virtual campus tour will allow the campus to be accessible to all potential students,” said Trey Wilson, Director of Digital Recruitment and Analytics. “Whether it be on their phone, school laptop, or computer at the local library, students who would have never had the opportunity to visit campus will now be one click away from immersing themselves in the Warhawk Experience.”

The new virtual campus tour was developed by StudentBridge, a higher education recruiting services and solutions company specializing in creating interactive videos and maps. StudentBridge has also produced recruitment service tools for Georgia Southern University, Southwestern Law School, and Transylvania University.
