MONROE, La. – The University of Louisiana Monroe College of Business and Social Sciences presents the Business Outlook Summit 2025 on Friday, November 14, at Bayou Pointe Event Center, 1 Warhawk Way in Monroe. The Business Outlook Summit provides an economic forecast of the nation, region, and state, intended to help guide the community and business leaders as they head into 2026. The event is sponsored by the Biomedical Research and Innovation Park (BRIP).
The summit will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with breakfast provided. Individual tickets are $50, and student tickets are $15. A variety of sponsorship levels are also available. Tickets and sponsorships can be purchased at https://bit.ly/ulm-bos-2025
The keynote, sponsored by Oppenheimer Asset Management, will feature National Outlook Expert John Stoltzfus, who serves as the Chief Investment Strategist and Managing Director for Oppenheimer Asset Management.
Local and State Outlook Speakers include Dr. Dan Groft, Director of the H.C. Drew Center for Business and Economic Analysis and Associate Professor at McNeese State University, Rob Cleveland, President and CEO of Grow NELA, and Dr. Virendra Chhikara, Director of the Louisiana Small Business Development Center at ULM.
“This program continues to provide valuable economic data to our regional businesses and community,” said Cathi Hemed, Director of External Initiatives at ULM. “With national, state, and local speakers, ULM offers a well-rounded outlook for businesses to use in preparing for the years ahead,” added Hemed.
