“Hawktoberfest is one of my favorite campus traditions, and this year we wanted to reimagine it into something the whole community can enjoy,” said Caitlyn Hilliard, Associate Director of Alumni Affairs and 31 Ambassadors Advisor. “From current students of all ages to alumni, community members, and their families, everyone will find something to love at this year’s event,” she continued.
Hawktoberfest is hosted by 31 Ambassadors, a group of hand-selected ULM students who serve as official hosts for university and alumni events. Named in honor of the university’s founding year, 1931, the “31ers” mission is to represent ULM and its Alumni Association, host select university and alumni-related events, promote student engagement with the Alumni Association, and instill a spirit of volunteerism and philanthropy among current students and future alumni.
