MONROE, La. — The University of Louisiana Monroe welcomes Jessica Zagorski and Meagan Morris to its leadership team, bringing together extensive experience in enrollment management, recruitment, marketing, and communications to strengthen the university's efforts to attract, engage, and enroll students.

Zagorski joins ULM as Chief Enrollment Management Officer, while Morris assumes the role of Executive Director of Marketing and Communications. Their appointments represent a coordinated effort to strengthen collaboration between Enrollment Management and Marketing and Communications in support of the university's enrollment goals and long-term growth.

“I am pleased to welcome Jessica and Meagan to their new roles as integral pieces of our enrollment management plan,” said ULM President Dr. Carrie L. Castille. “Enrollment growth is a top priority for this university. A strong collaboration between enrollment management and marketing is necessary to advance ULM’s mission and bring in students who will receive a life-changing education here. I’m confident that each of their skills and experience will help move ULM forward.”

Zagorski brings a decade of progressive experience in higher education admissions, recruitment and enrollment management, including leadership experience at Louisiana State University, Clemson University and the University of Central Florida. Her background includes enrollment growth initiatives, admissions process improvements, and recruitment strategies designed to strengthen the prospective student experience.

Her connection to ULM extends beyond her new professional role. Both her grandmother and aunt are ULM alumni, giving her family longstanding ties to the university. Zagorski looks forward to becoming an active member of the Warhawk community alongside her husband and three children.

"ULM has always been an important part of my story. As Chief Enrollment Management Officer, one of my priorities is to elevate the stories of our students, alumni, faculty, and community members, highlighting the profound impact the university has on our region and beyond. I look forward to hearing the stories of our students, alumni, and community members and sharing how ULM continues to change lives,” said Zagorski.

Morris returns to ULM with nearly a decade of experience spanning higher education, healthcare, and community-focused marketing and communications. Her previous higher education experience includes admissions and recruitment marketing and communications with her alma mater, Louisiana Tech University, giving her a firsthand understanding of how institutional storytelling, student recruitment, and the enrollment experience work together.

"Returning to ULM feels deeply personal to me," Morris said. "I’ve been on this campus my entire life and grew up knowing what this university means to Northeast Louisiana and the life-changing opportunities it creates for families like mine. My background in recruitment and marketing has also shown me how powerful it can be when enrollment and communications are working toward the same goals. I'm excited to partner with Jessica and our teams to tell ULM's story more intentionally and help more students see what is possible for them here."

Working in close partnership, Zagorski and Morris will help develop a comprehensive Student Enrollment Growth and Market Engagement Strategy that integrates recruitment, marketing, and communications.

Their collaborative efforts will focus on strengthening prospective student engagement, expanding the university's reach, and creating a more coordinated experience for students throughout their enrollment journey.

The initiative reflects ULM's commitment to building on its regional roots while expanding opportunities for students throughout Louisiana and beyond.
