MONROE, La. – The University of Louisiana Monroe has now completed four academic years using the Warhawk Bundle program, and it continues to be a cost-saver for ULM students. Data provided by Barnes & Noble College (BNC) shows that ULM students saved an estimated $1,683,987 in the Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 semesters.

Since the Fall 2022 semester, ULM, in conjunction with Barnes & Noble Education, has offered the Warhawk Bundle, a concierge service that allows students to have access to all of their course materials before the first day of class.

“The Warhawk Bundle continues to exceed expectations while at the same time saving our students lots of time and money,” said Tommy Walpole, Executive Director of Auxiliary Enterprises. “Every student should look into this program, and when they do, the vast majority will realize it will save them money,” added Walpole.

According to the report provided by BNC, 91% of students surveyed reported that the Warhawk Bundle saved them time in shopping for course materials, with 86% saying they were better prepared for the academic term. Additionally, 82% stated the program had a positive impact on their success, and 89% said they were likely to participate in the program in the future.

Students surveyed by BNC also shared their experiences with the Warhawk Bundle. “It makes it easy to get textbooks, so it causes less stress. You don’t need to worry about finding the correct textbooks outside of this bundle,” said one student. “Warhawk Bundle makes the book shopping process super easy and more affordable,” said another student.

With the Warhawk Bundle, instead of purchasing materials a la carte, the cost is included in each student’s account at the same time tuition is charged. Ahead of each term, students will receive an email from the ULM bookstore prompting them to select their preferred delivery method. The bookstore prepares materials for each student and notifies them when materials are available for in-store pickup or have shipped. Digital materials are automatically delivered to students within Canvas, the university’s online course management system.

The Warhawk Bundle is currently available to all undergraduate students, with the exception of Nursing and Pharmacy students. The program provides all required textbooks, lab manuals, access codes and digital textbook versions to eligible undergraduate students. All eligible undergraduate students are automatically enrolled in the Warhawk Bundle program, but can opt out if they choose.
