College of Pharmacy
Welcome

Students,
Welcome to the University of Louisiana Monroe College of Pharmacy.
Whether you are just beginning the professional program or preparing to complete your
final year, you are part of a College with a proud and meaningful legacy. For more
than 70 years, the ULM College of Pharmacy has prepared pharmacists, scientists, and
health care leaders who are prepared to serve our communities in Louisiana and beyond.
Being admitted to the professional program is an accomplishment. Succeeding in it
will require discipline, resilience, integrity, and a commitment to growth. Pharmacy
is a profession built on trust. From your first day in the program, you are not only
a student; you are preparing to enter a profession that expects sound judgment, ethical
conduct, respect for others, and a lifelong commitment to learning and service.
This Student Handbook outlines the policies, procedures, expectations, and resources
that guide your experience in the professional program. It is your responsibility
to read, understand, and follow these policies. If you have questions or need assistance,
please contact the Office of Student and Professional Affairs or the appropriate faculty
or staff member. We are here to help you navigate the program successfully, but your
engagement and accountability are essential.
As Dean, I am honored to serve this College and its students. ULM has been part of
my own professional journey for many years, and I know firsthand the impact this College
has on lives, communities, and the profession of pharmacy. I am proud that you have
chosen to be part of that tradition, and I look forward to seeing the ways you will
contribute to it.
Welcome to the ULM College of Pharmacy. We are glad you are here, and we are committed
to helping you become the professional you are called to be.
Sincerely,
Gina Craft, Pharm.D., MBA
