I just finished residency training in Tennessee (Go Vols!), so I am not far removed from the process of school and post-grad training. My residency training was focused on family medicine, both inpatient and outpatient, so I can discuss both of those paths with you if interested. I have a wide range of clinical interests, but my favorites are anticoagulation, post ASCVD management (specifically strokes), neurology and transitions of care. Internal medicine is a great fit for me because every day is different, and I get to learn so much by taking care of a wide variety of patients. My friends describe me as "painfully extroverted" and I can make friends anywhere I go! That being said, I am incredibly excited to be a mentor and share my journey with students and help them discover what they are most passionate about in pharmacy. I have been lucky to have fantastic mentors throughout my training and I am ready to be that for y’all. I love riding horses (dressage and jumping), obsessing over my sweet dog Kermit, boxing and international travel. If you are looking for someone who will talk about Harry Potter and Outlander for hours, I'm your gal!

I am very passionate about oncology but I also believe it is important to find the
right path for you in your future pharmacy career. It may or may not be a residency
or the clinical route. I am willing to give advice or just listen. If I do not know
the answer, I will find out! The best way to describe me was said by one of the past

I still rely on my mentors and enjoy my personal relationships with each of them. There are many unique paths to take as a pharmacist, one of the great things about our profession. While my experience is specialized residency training into a clinical faculty position, I am excited to help students find the path that is best for them.
