ULM’s Risk Management and Insurance degree is one of only nine offered in the United States and is the only one providing training in surplus lines and reinsurance; it is now offered online and within traditional classroom settings.

ULM Aviation offers the state’s only concentration and degree program in Unmanned Aircraft Systems.

ULM’s online MBA was ranked 87th in the nation by U.S. News & World Report. No other institution in the state was ranked. 

In 2013, ULM’s Social Science Research Lab joined the University of Mississippi and Arkansas State University to form the Delta Regional Authority Leadership Academy, which strengthens the workforce and business environment throughout the region.
