Working with the Theatre Department, Dance offers a wide variety of classes, performances, and opportunities to all interested in the performing arts.

The ULM Dance Department emphasizes classical training in ballet and modern styles and at the same time encourages students to cross over into other genres -- jazz, tap, musical theater, folk, and ethnic dance.

The department welcomes students of all abilities, from the beginner who wishes to dance for fun to the experienced dancer looking to refine skills and challenge the body and mind.

The Repertory Dance Ensemble accepts membership through a yearly audition process.
