ULM offers a wide range of courses for certified teachers to add-on endorsements to their existing certification.

Graduate Study

The University of Louisiana at Monroe offers advanced degrees in Elementary Education, Secondary Education, Reading, Educational/Instructional Technology, and Special Education. Four options leading to certification in Special Education are available: Early Intervention, Educational Assessment, Gifted/Talented, and Mild/Moderate Disabilities. A Doctorate is available in Curriculum and Instruction. The advanced programs are designed to build upon undergraduate knowledge in order to facilitate specialization in a particular field of education.
