This handbook has been created as a reference for protecting the health and welfare of human subjects in teaching and research activities associated with The University of Louisiana at Monroe. Further, it serves as a guide for working with the University Human Subjects Research Committee (HSRC). The material found within this handbook serves to ensure compliance with appropriate Federal guidelines and the practice of good science. The HSRC chair is Dr. Jean Low, Associate Professor of Psychology.

The Handbook for the Care & Use of Laboratory Animals:
This handbook is a reference source for the safe and humane care of laboratory animals which are used in teaching and research activities and is a guide for working with the University Institutional Animal Care and Use committee (IACUC). The material found within this handbook serves to ensure compliance with appropriate Federal guidelines and the practice of good science. The IACUC chair is Benny Blaylock, Head of the Department of Toxicology.

The Graduate Catalog is published annually in the fall of the year.
