ULM Student Health Services recognizes the special health concerns of college students
and stands ready to provide information and treatment for these problems, as well
as general medical services for all students. Student Health Services is also available
for any of your immunization compliance questions and needs.
We are located at 1140 University Ave. (Corner of Lasalle St. & University Ave- Across from Madison Hall). The Clinic is staffed with nurse practitioners, clerical personnel, a clinic manager, and an immunization specialist who are available for consultation with patients daily.
Board certified nurse practitioners are available in person during operating hours, and can provide confidential consultations by telephone if you prefer. Clerical personnel set appointments, process paperwork, and direct the general affairs of the office. The clinic manager is responsible for oversight of daily activities.
If you are concerned about your health and would like some assistance, please call us or stop by for a confidential visit.

Student Health Services operates as a walk-in clinic. You are encouraged to visit between classes. Clients are seen in the order of arrival, so please schedule enough time for your visit. Appointments are required for women's health examinations and follow-up visits only.
Student I.D. cards are required for service.
If you have medical insurance, please bring your card with you. If you are a student athlete, please consult with your athletic training staff.

Student Fees
Most medical services will be covered by your student health fee which you paid along with your tuition. Other fees may be incurred for some procedures deemed necessary by the nurse practitioner (i.e., antibiotic shots, medications, labs, medical procedures, etc.) You are responsible for payment of these fees after your visit. If you have medical insurance, you will be provided with the necessary documents to file your claim for reimbursement. Other billing arrangements may be made with the receptionist.
