Scholarships
Available to both Majors and Non-Majors

Students wishing to be considered for scholarship awards
in Theatre at the University of Louisiana at Monroe must:

  • Meet all University requirements and enroll at the University of Louisiana at Monroe the next regular semester following completion of high school/community college.  For renewal, students must maintain full time status earning at least 12 hours per semester with a minimum 2.0 grade point average and complete required theatre work assignments.
  • Have a minimum grade point average of 2.5 in all previous high school/community college studies (on a 4 point scale.)
  • Demonstrate talent through audition and/or portfolio presentation.
  • Present a letter of recommendation from their faculty addressing their talents and personal qualities as appropriate for a theatre professional.
  • Demonstrate the above mentioned qualities in an interview with a member of the ULM theatre faculty.

    Scholarships are competitive and limited in number.
    Some scholarships require cumulative GPAs beyond 2.5
    Scholarship awards are not available for Summer Sessions
