Pulitzer Prize winner Doris Kearns Goodwin will speak at the Dr. James E. Cofer, Sr. Presidential Lyceum Series. Don't miss this author and historian as she discusses her insight into past, present and possible future historical perspectives.

Doris Kearns Goodwin won the Pulitzer Prize for No Ordinary Time: Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt. Currently at work on a biography on Abraham Lincoln - which Steven Spielberg plans to make into a movie - Goodwin understands the historical significance of today's current events. As well, she penned a memoir, Wait Till Next Year, about a love of baseball she shared with her father. Audiences learn not only about today's political headlines, but how history will interpret them.

As regular commentator on Hardball with Chris Matthews and Meet the Press and a contributor, both on and off the air, to the PBS documentaries LBJ, The Kennedy's, FDR and Baseball, Goodwin offers historical perspective on political, media and current events.
