ULM softball donates Christmas gifts

In the spirit of the holiday season, the ULM softball team went above and beyond by donating Christmas gifts to a pair of deserving families in the Monroe area.

“In this day and time, life is busy for everyone, especially our student-athletes,” head coach Rosemary Holloway-Hill said. “It means a lot to my staff and me that our players took their own time and money to make someone else's Christmas brighter.”

ULM's softball team provided Christmas gifts for a single mother of four children and a family whose father recently suffered a stroke and is in the hospital.

The Warhawks got together as a team and bought clothes, toys, and various other items to give to a single mother of four children and a family whose father recently suffered a stroke and is in the hospital.

“It is rewarding to see them giving back to the community, especially during the Christmas holiday season,” Holloway-Hill said.
