All University of Louisiana at Monroe students interested in joining one of the eight historically black fraternity and sororities are encouraged to attend the National Pan-Hellenic Council 2010 Spring Informational at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 28.
This free informational session will be held in the Student Union Building Ballrooms, located on the second floor of the SUB. The attire for the event is professional dress.
NPHC fraternities and sororities select new members on the basis of each individual applicant’s qualifications and the Membership Intake Process can vary from group to group.
Requirements concerning individual grade point averages and semester hour requirements also vary with each organization. Many organizations may require letters of recommendation and documented community service hours.
