July 13, 2005 ULM Increases in Student Satisfaction For the Third Year Results from the 2005 ACT Satisfaction
Survey are in and again, the University of Louisiana at Monroe
has increased in student satisfaction. "We are very pleased that the students are becoming more and more satisfied with our programs and services," said Cofer. One indicator of the increased satisfaction in ULM by students is the increased demand for PREP. All regularly scheduled PREP sessions this summer (5) were successful. In fact, the demand was so high that ULM has scheduled an additional session this summer on July 26th before the annual "late PREP' set for August 18-19. There is also a non-traditional student PREP, ULM TNT, for Transfer and Non-Traditional Students, set for July 22 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Airway Sciences Auditorium. Cofer adds that ULM's ability to appeal to all students goes a long way in building student confidence and satisfaction with the university. "We want everyone to feel they are welcome at our university. That is why everything we do is centered around students from our orientation programs to our campus renovations," Cofer said.
