Fall 2001
Sixteen students were selected to participate in the Howard Hughes Medical Institute's Undergraduate Research Program at ULM for the Fall 2001 academic year. These students received cash awards as well as money for supplies needed to conduct their research. Each one worked closely with a faculty mentor on a biological research project to help them gain valuable experience in their undergraduate science careers.
