These resources are provided to help prepare degree candidates for the commencement ceremony, which is under the direction of the ULM Commencement Committee.

Commencement Information

Spring 2021 Ceremony - Saturday, May 15, 2021 (optional event)

  • Graduates will be allowed a maximum of 10 guests which include children (by invitation).
  • Graduates must arrive at Fant-Ewing Coliseum 30 minutes prior to the start of their ceremony.
  • Upon arrival, please locate your name card and go to your designated location.
  • Graduates are required to wear a solid color or ULM branded mask to participate in the ceremony. All graduates and guests must wear their mask at all times.
  • All guests are asked to maintain at least six feet of physical distance from those not in their party.
  • To minimize contact among guests, there will not be a printed commencement program.
  • Please ask your family and guests to meet you outside the coliseum after the ceremony.
  • You will not be able to re-enter.
  • Graduates are reminded that they are NOT allowed to decorate their cap/mortar board. 
  • Conferral of degrees will occur on May 22, 2021

College of Arts, Education and Sciences - 9:00 a.m.

College of Business and Social Sciences - 11:00 a.m

College of Health Sciences - 1:00 p.m.

College of Pharmacy - 3:00 p.m.
