This position oversees the preparation, content, and publication of all print and electronic publications of the International Horn Society, including the society’s official journal, The Horn Call

“I am incredibly honored to serve the International Horn Society in this position, especially following in the footsteps of Dr. William Scharnberg, who was publications editor for the past 17 years,” said Boldin. “Because the publications editor is responsible for procuring, editing, and curating content for all International Horn Society publications,” Boldin said, “it gives me the opportunity to communicate and collaborate with society members from all over the world.”

Boldin joined VAPA, in the College of Arts, Education, and Sciences, in 2006. He earned his Bachelor of Music, Music Performance, from Appalachian State University, Master of Music, Music Performance, and Doctor of Musical Arts in Horn Performance from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
