Cost

  • The Village Meal Plan ($1095 per semester - 24-25 AY) is the required, base-level meal plan for all Apartment Residents. Residents may select another on-campus meal plan (All Access Silver, All Access Gold, All Access Platinum, or Maroon Plan). Meal plans are active for ULM's Fall and Spring semesters, and are not available for ULM's Summer semester. 
  • All VCOM Student Apartment leases will have a Summer plus Academic Year (12 month / July-to-June) contract.
  • Cost is due upfront, and a payment schedule will be determined in correlation with VCOM billing and disbursement.

Why should I live in Bayou Village or Warhawk Village Apartments?

There are several reasons but a few stand out:

• Living with other medical school students

• Fantastic location on Bayou Desiard – located on Bon Aire Avenue, same street as VCOM.

• Convenience - walk to class!

What is included in my apartment?

Your rent will be fully inclusive and include:

• Fully furnished: living & dining room furniture, desk & desk chair & full-size bed

• Appliances: in apartment refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, and washer/dryer

• Utilities: Cable, Internet (Ethernet & Wireless), water, heat, electricity

What is included in my community?

Your rent will be fully inclusive and include:

• After-hours Resident Assistants and Emergency Maintenance

• Safety features: electronic building access, safety cameras

• Parking (VCOM decal required)

Do I need an on-campus meal plan?

Students who live at Bayou Village or Warhawk Village are required to purchase at a minimum the Village Meal Plan.

Can I have a pet if I live at Bayou Village or Warhawk Village Apartments?

Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in Bayou Village or Warhawk Village apartments, including visiting pets.

What are Bayou Village or Warhawk Village community standards / rules?

Bayou Village and Warhawk Village residents are subject to the University of Louisiana Monroe Code of Conduct and Housing and Residence Life policies. Warhawk Village residents are also subject to the standards set by Servitas Management Group.

Where can I park if I live at Bayou Village or Warhawk Village Apartments?

Bayou Village and Warhawk Village has parking available but it is not guaranteed. Residents interested in parking will need to display their VCOM parking decal at all times.

Application Information

To live on-campus, VCOM students must complete ULM’s online housing application!

  • The Housing Application is only available after you are accepted and deposited at VCOM Louisiana.
  • Setup Your eRezLife Account: VCOM students should visit ulm.erezlife.com and will need to click "Forgot my password", enter the full email address that was provided to us, and follow the directions in the email to establish a password.
  • Completing an eRezLife Application: VCOM students should then be able to login to ulm.erezlife.com using the full email address and password created. Students will need to manually add any required fields that where not provided to us (phone, cell phone, etc.). On the left side navigation, under Housing, VCOM students can click Housing Overview. This bring up Application forms, noticing specifically the VCOM application notation under the Name, and the green Apply button on the right.
  • Application Deadline is Friday, May 30, 2025.
    • At the time of application, $200 is due ($200 room reservation fee (non-refundable).

Cancellation of Application/Contract

  • The last day to cancel is Sunday, June 15, 2025.
  • After moving in, students who reside on-campus may not cancel their application/contract mid-year unless they are leaving the program or they are graduating.

Roommate Requests

  • Requests are completed in eRezLife by creating a Roommate Group, after all persons have completed a housing application. Roommate requests must be mutual.
  • If two students request each other as roommates, their assignment date will be the later of the two student's application date.
  • If you do not have a roommate request, we will match you with another VCOM Student based off the Roommate Matching Questions on the application and discussions with VCOM Student Services.

 

Move-In

Fall 2025 VCOM Students will move-in before the VCOM start date of Wednesday, July 9, 2025. Specific move-in details will be emailed to those students with an application and assignment.

Rules and Regulations

As you will be staying with and among our students, we ask that you also comply with the rules and regulations found in our Guide to Residence Hall Living (http://www.ulm.edu/reslife/guide.html). Some major highlights are listed as follows:

  • Our campus, facilities, and living spaces are tobacco-free and alcohol-free.
  • Courtesy hours are in effect ALL the time. Quiet hours are Sun-Thu, 9p-9a and Fri-Sat, 11p-11a. Visitation Hours are Sun-Thu, 12 noon to 12 midnight and Fri-Sat, 12 noon – 2a
  • VCOM Students are held responsible for damages that occur to the room and its furnishings during their occupancy.
  • Rooms should be kept in an orderly manner so that Residential Life staff can properly assess any maintenance needs. VCOM Students are responsible for keeping their bath area clean and tidy.
  • VCOM Students must dispose of their trash in the proper bins in various collection areas. Do not leave trash around the outside of your unit.
  • No pets, with the exception of registered service animals/assistance animals, will be allowed in the premises.
  • Guests must be accompanied by the VCOM Student when entering the building, while in the unit, and when leaving the building. Guests are not permitted to be in the building/unit/room without their VCOM Student. Out of respect for your fellow students, no overnight guests will be allowed.
  • Familiarize yourself with evacuation procedures, fire/smoke evacuation, and severe weather procedures.
  • The University reserves the right to enter rooms for the purpose of inspecting the premises for adherence to fire, health and/or life safety guidelines and university and state policies.

Monday through Thursday from 7:30 AM to 5 PM

Friday from 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM

Afterhours and during school holidays/closures, the BAPT Resident Assistants will be available to assist with lock-outs, noise disturbances, roommate/suitemate conflicts, general housing questions, etc.

Warhawk Village - Leasing Office

Monday through Thursday from 7:30 AM to 5 PM

Friday from 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM

Afterhours and during federal holidays or other closures, the WAPT Resident Assistantswill be available to assist with lock-outs, noise disturbances, roommate/suitemate conflicts, general housing questions, etc.

 

Staff Member on Duty Information

The Residential Student Staff Members serve as the point person for the hall. They are prepared to assist residents with a range of concerns – personal, social, academic, and environmental – and help students develop and take responsibility for their actions.

Contact the Staff Member on Duty to have them assist with lockouts, noise disturbances, roommate or suitemate conflicts, general housing questions, etc. The Staff Member on Duty for each night will have a sign posted by the main entrance or in the lobby of the building, containing their identity and contact information.

Each building has a staff member on duty every night.

BAPT Resident Assistants

Weekdays from 7 PM to 7 AM

Weekends, from Friday at 1 PM to Monday at 7 AM, with exceptions for meal breaks.

WAPT Resident Assistants

Weekdays from 6 PM to 7 AM

Weekends, from Friday at 6 PM to Monday at 7 AM, with exceptions for meal breaks.

 

Maintenance Requests

For repair or service issues at Bayou Village, visit Residence Hall Maintenance Requests to submit a work order or learn more. If it's a true emergency (overflowing water, A/C out, broken unit door), please contact the Staff Member on duty or resident assistants (listed above).

For repair or service issues at Warhawk Village, please submit a work order through Entrata or contact the WVA Office during office hours or the RA on call after hours.

 

WIFI

To access the Bayou Village Wifi, the router name will be ULMDorms-<<Building>>-5G/2G and the password is 202560reslife (Summer 2025), 202640reslife (Fall 2025), and 202660 (Spring 2026). The password will change accordingly with the ULM Semester schedule. The reset process clears the device(s) of students who were connected during the previous semester but are no longer on campus for this semester.

Vehicles

If you plan to operate a vehicle on campus, your VCOM decal will allow you to park at either Bayou Village or Warhawk Village Apartments.

 

Move-Out

Checkout for all residents includes:

Removing all items from the room and unit

  • All personal belongings must also be removed before you checkout of your room.
  • The RA/HD will not accept your key(s) nor check you out if you still have belongings in the room and the room is not clean.

Cleaning and cleansing their room and bathroom

  • Your room/apartment and bathroom must be clean and free of all trash.
  • The RA/HD will not accept your key(s) nor check you out if you still have belongings in the room and the room is not clean.

Returning keys to a Residential Life Staff Member

  • Do not leave your keys in your room, slide your key(s) under a door, leave them with your roommate, suitemate, or a friend—doing so will result in an improper checkout charge.
  • The main office cannot perform check-outs. However you can complete an Express Checkout Envelope and Agreement.

The Residential Life office will NOT be able to complete your check out, however you can complete an Express Checkout Envelope and Agreement, which is a process to expedite your leaving of the residence halls, but the following conditions must be met to be considered properly checked out:

  • Abide by all checkout procedures & checklist.
  • Remove personal belongings and trash from the room.
  • Clean the room and return furniture to its original condition & position.
  • Failure to comply with the proper checkout procedures may result in a(n) improper checkout, lock change, or housing damage/violation charge.
  • By performing an Express Checkout, the right to be present at the time of room inspection is waived and the right to appeal any damage, cleaning, or key charges that are assessed to student account is waived.
    • The room and common areas will be inspected and reviewed for damages/cleanliness at a later time. The resident will be financially responsible for all damages recorded at the time of checkout, if not recorded on the Unit Inventory and Condition Form at the time of check in.
