Career Mosaic A cornucopia
of career information and links. Very large site, in fact some might say
it's downright "humungus." Has an excellent search mechanism
for current job openings. Can search via keyword, state, etc... College
students rate it highly, might be overwhelming to some "career newbies.

Hoover's Company Search A
handy little research site provding an excellent search engine for finding
information about public and private companies. If you want the Hoover's
profiles you'll have to pay for them. (Bummer! Isn't the web supposed to
be free??) Don't bother paying. You'll get plenty of research information
using the Masterlist Plus Database here. (It's free!) Search by company
name or press the Masterlist link to search by industry, earnings, or geographic
area. Has had recent access problems.

links to career related webpages, this is one of the best! Job Listings for Education

NCS Career Magazine (On-line
magazines with want-ads and articles on careers) This site has really come
on strong recently. It is quickly developing into one of the premiere "massive
career search services" on the web. Extremely comprehensive and easy
to navigate. Has great articles, a large number of job postings, (although
most still have a heavy technical focus), and a free resume bank.
NetNews Job Scanner
Online Career Center One of the
first and one of the best of the comprehensive career search sites. Possibly
even more humungus than Career Mosaic. Surfers could get lost in here,
but it is a great place to be lost. Has many position openings and lots
of articles and information on conducting a career search. Can download
your resume here. Tends to be heavy with technical positions, but seems
to be diversifying with time.

Student Center Who
says the career search can't be fun? Student Center is one of the more
innovative career sites on the web. Be sure to check out the virtual interview
feature. Most surfers won't want to miss the "Fortune-tellin'/Career-pickin'"
section either. This site is new and much is still being constructed. The
career search sections are based on decent published works, but don't yet
live up to the creativity of the rest of this site. Teaching

Resources For People With Disabilities Not much to look at artistically,
but the information is the best currently available. This site is a comprehensive
listing of career links and resources for people with disabilites who are
conducting a job search. It is spun off of the Careers On-line site
which houses career information for students with disabilites. Since this
site is based in Minnesota, some of the information is region specific,
although most can be used by anyone.
Gay, Lesbian and Bisexual Career Resources Features information
