LAFAYETTE - a family dinner for our Acadiana area alumni

Alumni gathered on Saturday afternoon, July 11th, at Acadian Village (same place as last year) for a family fish fry in support of ULM. for a fish fry in support of ULM.  The social hour began at 5:00 and dinner was served at 6:00.  Acadian Village has a very large covered pavilion so the event went on even though it stormed!  We also had one of those air toys for kids to play in.  The cost was $10.00 per adult and $7.00 for children.  
 
Directions to Acadian Village:  
 
Take I-10 West exit to Lake Charles. After that, take Exit 100 (Ambassador Caffery Pkwy Exit) and at the end of the ramp at the light----take a left and continue on Ambassador Caffery until you come to a fork in the road ----keep on Ambassador Caffery as you veer right.  You will go a long way from that point (about 4-5 miles) and then take a right on Ridge Road (at the light)--do not go all the way to Johnston Street or you have gone too far.  After taking a right on Ridge Road, go about 2 1/2 miles on Ridge to East Broussard Road and take a left.  On East Broussard continue about 1/2 mile down, take a left on New Hope road (you will see the sign for Acadian Village at the intersection of New Hope and Ridge), then a left on Greenleaf into the Acadian Village area.
