Purpose of Job: 
KXUL Announcer
Description of Duties and Responsibilities: 
On-air shifts are generally three hours in length each and include any holiday/break periods within academic term. Potential shifts include: 1) 7 a.m.-9 a.m. Monday-Friday 2) 1 p.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Friday 3) 7 p.m.-10 p.m. Monday-Friday Prefer student able to work same shift all five days per week.
Job Qualifications: 
Must be familiar with modern rock/alternative music, must be able to effectively orally communicate to station’s audience, and must be proficient with operation of radio station equipment. Aircheck required. Volunteer on-air experience with 91X/KXUL and coursework in announcing preferred.
