Certification

When you earn a baccalaureate degree in Elementary Education from ULM, you will meet Louisiana’s professional certification requirements to teach in grades 1-5. If you select the Early Childhood add-on, you will be certified in grades PK-5. If you are interested in teaching young adults (grades 6-12), Secondary Education may be your program of interest. The following options are available to you in Secondary Education:

* Biology Education
* Chemistry Education
* Earth Science Education
* English Education
* Family and Consumer Sciences
* French Education
* Mathematics Education
* Music Education (Vocal, Instrumental, or Instrumental & Vocal)
* Social Studies
* Spanish Education
