Institute of Law Enforcement

The Institute of Law Enforcment was developed in 1991. It offers in-service training to police and related agencies in the northeast Louisiana and surrounding states area. The Institute usually offers four (4) different training courses during the academic year. Courses, descriptions, dates, registration costs and procedures, and so forth can be viewed here. Instructors are typically those persons who possess various appropriate certifications in the subject areas involved. For further information, contact

Most classes are held at 420 Wheelis Street; West Monroe, LA at the physical location of the North Delta Regional Training Academy. Registration should be submitted as soon as possible. Some classes are limited in size and openings are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration fees should be submitted with applications though they will be accepted at the door on the date the training session begins.
