Your application will be processed and within two weeks you will receive a notification letter stating your enrollment status and indicating any documents needed to complete your admission.
Students who have met admission requirements and all other University requirements (e.g., submitted proof of immunization form, housing form, and have been advised) are eligible to register for their classes.
For specific registration dates and information, see the ULM Schedule of Classes. Students taking part in Summer Orientation (PREP) will be guided through the registration process.

The Office of Recruitment & Admissions processes applications for beginning freshmen, transfer students, readmitted and undergraduate students, and international students. Additionally, the Admissions Office admits high school students to various honor programs as well as admitting non-traditional students to certain non-degree programs.
The Office of Admissions certifies college transfer credits and high school credentials for entering freshmen and also serves as a clearinghouse for students whose records are not complete.
The residence status of an applicant or student (for tuition purposes) is determined in accordance with State Board regulations and is based upon evidence provided in the application and related documents. For specific student residence regulations see: Student Resident Regulations. The Assistant Director of Admissions serves as the point of contact for students who need assistance or clarification on Louisiana residency issues.
