How the application process works
Two ULM units evaluate your application to the Graduate School, which determines your eligibility for admission to the university and the department you to major in, which determines your eligibility for its graduate program.
Each of these units needs specific materials from you to make a decision. Please make sure that you send the requested information so your application is not held up for lack of information or missing required documents.
How to Apply

- Obtain application for admission by download: Graduate School Application [pdf] or contact the Graduate School, Administration 1-142, Monroe, LA 71209, (800) 372-5127/(318) 342-1036 or apply online
- Read and complete the application carefully. Please make sure your social security number is correct.
- Return application and application fee ($20 for domestic students/$30 for international students) to:

- Have your official test scores (GRE/GMAT/TOEFL) and transcripts sent to the Graduate School to be evaluated. ULM's institution code is 6482.
Application Fee
There is a non-refundable $20 for domestic students/$30 for international students fee for each application you submit to the Graduate School. Your application will NOT be processed without submitting this fee.
Your application will be processed and within two weeks you will receive a notification letter stating your enrollment status and indicating any documents needed to complete your admission.
