Students are expected to participate in online class 5-7 days per week.  Typically, a student will need to spend 2-3 hours a day on assignments, postings, etc. to complete the program.  The courses are accelerated, which means the student will complete the course in 8-weeks online, instead of the normal 15-weeks on-campus.

The program is designed for both health professionals and non-health professionals. 

Yes, you will need access to the Internet through a service provider.  It is advisable that you have a DSL connection or some form of high-speed connection.  For more information, see the Continuing Education webpage.

In addition to ULM’s admission requirements, applicants should have a 3-year full time work history (not necessarily in healthcare) post high school graduation, have access to the Internet and a desire to complete the program.
