NATHAN BICK, tenor (Frederic), is from Richmond, Virginia. Recently, Mr. Bick completed his residency with Indianapolis Opera's Young Artist Program, The Indianapolis Opera Ensemble.  Along with numerous outreach concerts and performances, he performed the role of El Remendado in Indianapolis Opera's mainstage production of Carmen. 

He received his Master of Music degree from Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music, where he performed numerous roles with the IU Opera Theater, including Tony (West Side Story), Little Bat (Susannah), Josh (Jeppe), and Rolf (The Sound of Music).

Other roles include Frederic (The Pirates of Penzance), Nanki-Poo (The Mikado), Henrik (A Little Night Music), and Jack (Into the Woods). Mr. Bick has sung with the Janiec Opera Company, Opera Illinois, and Opera Aegean. He has performed many of the choral masterworks of Mozart and Bach, and was the tenor soloist in Mozart’s Coronation Mass at Carnegie Hall. For the past four summers, he has performed with the Carmel Bach Festival as a member of its professional chorale.
