Ensembles in Residence
The Louisiana Trio The public performance of music has dominated Salon's in Parisian Society, lieder abends throughout Germany and is certainly a part of the American music scene. Foundations established throughout America help keep the art of recitals alive through funding concert series and advocacy efforts. Fortunately, Louisiana has all the elements necessary to successfully produce and present local and guest artists in concert. These ventures have become known for the versatile programming, multi-talented performers, established and well-known presenters and audiences hungry for a positive, artistic experience. To this end, the Northeast Louisiana Arts Council has developed and is promoting its three ensembles in residence. Each ensemble features the collaborative efforts of classically trained musicians sharing their artistic abilities with diverse audiences.

We Three Kings The group, which started out being playfully called We Three Kings, is the Northeast Louisiana Arts Council’s second Ensemble-in-Residence. The unique pairing of three classically trained male vocalists with their Queen, Coralie White, makes this one of the Art Council’s most popular ensembles. The ensemble debuted with the Monroe Symphony Orchestra in 2004 and has completed three concert tours.
