This unique Arts funding program, known across the country as "The Louisiana Miracle," has brought to our state national prestige, which has made us a leader in cultural programming that is targeted to individual community needs.
The Arts Council, as Region 8's Development Agency, administers the program and provides technical assistance in grants writing and programming to over 45 organizations in our 11 parish Northeast Louisiana service area.
Since 1994, the Northeast Louisiana Arts Council administered the Decentralized Arts Funding Program support for the programs of the following organizations:
