ULM Warhawk Express
The debit plan brings you convenience ... no longer do you have to carry or keep large amounts of money to pay for purchases on the ULM campus. Just open an Warhawk Express debit account and enjoy the convenience of purchasing power on campus. Skip the long lines for check approvals, no more fumbling for bills or change to pay for your purchases! In fact, you may no longer need to carry cash for on-campus purchases.
What is the "Warhawk Express" (Debit Account) and How does it work?
It is a convenient plan for students to pay for purchases on campus. It works like a credit card in reverse. Depending on your needs, you deposit an amount of money into your account. Every time you make a purchase, i.e., the Bookstore, Athletic Concessions, Union Board Tickets, Convenience Store, etc., you give your card to the cashier. Your card is passed through the register and the amount of purchase is electronically deducted from your pre-deposited account via the magnetic stripe on the back of the card. Each time you make a purchase with your card, the remaining balance will be displayed at the register so you'll always know how much you have left in your account. It's simple, instead of charging purchases and receiving monthly bills, you electronically debit against your account.
What are the benefits of the Debit Plan?
Convenience ... You no longer have to fumble for bills or change to pay for your snacks in the Convenience Store, Books and Supplies in the Bookstore, refreshments at the concession stands, and at athletic events. Contrary to credit cards, there are never bills, fees, or finance charges to worry about.
Security ... It's safer than carrying cash. Since a student's photo, signature, and encoded identification number are on the ULM I.D. Card, it is almost impossible for someone else to use your card.
Flexibility ... It provides the flexibility you deserve. Whether you need a last-minute book purchase at the bookstore or want a candy bar from the Convenience Store, with your Warhawk Express Account, there's no worry.
Money Management ... It is an excellent money management tool helping you budget and plan for your campus needs.
It also helps supplement the flex money for all the meal plans when flex has a low balance.
Will My Account Remain Active From One Semester to the Next?
Your remaining balance at the end of the semester will carry over to the next semester, and continue to do so as long as the student is enrolled. The University reserves the right to deactivate accounts not used during a 120-day period. Reactivation will require a visit to the Warhawk ID Card Services Office.
How Can I Keep Track of My Transactions?
Transactions are recorded by time, date, location, and amount. Account statements are available the following business day at no charge by completing a request form at the Warhawk ID Card Services Office.

Can I Take Cash Out?
No, you cannot take cash out. You can only make deposits to your account. Your purchase amounts are deducted from your account and your remaining balance is displayed at the register. Cash refunds are not made for returned merchandise. A credit will be made to your account for the value of the returned merchandise within (5) business days form the time the merchandise is returned.
What if I lose My Card?
If the card is lost or stolen, contact Warhawk ID Card Services immediately at 342-5002 or go to the cash register at the Wigwam Convenience Store. As soon as you notify the Warhawk ID Card Services Office, your account is frozen and a hold will be placed on your card prohibiting further purchases. Soon after your phone message, you must report your ID card loss in person to the Warhawk ID Card Services Office. There is a replacement charge of $10.00 for cards lost, stolen, or damaged. For your protection this card is non-transferable and its use is restricted to the person whose photo and signature are on the card. You may not lend your card to anyone or ask them to purchase items for you with your card.
How Do I Enroll in the Debit Plan?
For immediate activation or increases, complete, sign and return an application form, with your deposit form, to LA Capitol Federal Credit Union (on the ULM campus). Forms are available at the Warhawk ID Card Services.
Also, Warhawk Express is available through ARROW, the web-based student information and registration system.
Terms and Conditions
Warhawk Express Debit Account
1.Minimum to open an Warhawk Express Account is $25.00. Minimum deposit is $5.00. Maximum deposit is $1,000.00.
2.Warhawk Express balances will be carried forward from semester to semester until a student graduates or withdraws (resigns) from school. Refunds are made by mail only within approximately 20 calendar days after requested in writing at the Warhawk ID Card Services Office. There is a $10.00 processing fee when closing an account. Refunds are mailed to the address provided at time refund is requested. Partial refunds of balance are not made. NO CASH WITHDRAWALS PERMITTED AT ANY TIME.
3.Account balances cannot be protected when card is lost or stolen until card is reported lost or stolen and invalidated at any open / attended Warhawk Express location or at the Warhawk ID Card Services Office. Only the balance at the time the card is reported missing and is invalidated can be protected. Maximum daily limit of $50.00 is set for your protection. This limit does not apply to Bookstore purchases.
4.Balance may be carried from semester to semester as long as the student is enrolled. Faculty/Staff balances will be carried as long as the individual remains employed. The University reserves the right to deactivate an account not used during a 120-day period, reactivation will require a visit to the Warhawk ID Card Services Office.
5.Cash refunds are not made for returned merchandise. A credit will be made to your account for the value of the returned merchandise within five (5) business days from the time the merchandise is returned.
6.An Warhawk Express account can be opened at any time. During Fee Payment, new accounts will be opened and deposits to existing accounts will be taken at LA Capitol Federal Credit Union. Deposits to accounts will normally be available the same business day.
7.There is a replacement charge of $15.00 for cards lost, stolen, or damaged. For any Social Security number or name change, there will be a $15.00 charged.
8.Future changes in terms and conditions regulating use of this card will apply to all cards in circulation and use at that future date and will supersede the terms and conditions in effect at the time the card was acquired.
