involved in intramurals, enjoys work
Coy Bergeron is a second-year pharmacy student from Rayne, Louisiana.
I am involved in Phi Delta Chi, ULM's professional pharmacy fraternity. I am also a member of the Pharmacy Student Senate and the Dean's Student Advisory Council. I love to get involved in intramurals of all kinds. I work during school breaks at an independent pharmacy in Rayne called Mouton's Pharmacy. I really enjoy to work when I get the chance.
I hope to be a pharmacist in two years. I would like to work as a clinical pharmacist in a hospital pharmacy. To be honest, I tend to change what I want to do with my degree about once a week because there are so many options with the degree I'm pursuing. I really won't know what I want to do until I graduate.
My favorite spot on campus is the activity center; I like to workout and play basketball. It helps me relieve some of the stress associated with studying all the time.
One of my favorite professors is Dr. Paul Sylvester, a professor of pharmacology for the College of Pharmacy. He is a wonderful teacher because he has a great understanding of the subject, and he presents it in an exciting way.
ULM accepted me into the pharmacy program, and that gave me the opportunity of a lifetime. I am so proud to be at ULM and to have the chance to get my degree here.
