April 7, 2005 ULM is readying for this Spring Fever Week, which will happen throughout next week. Spring Fever 2005, sponsored by the ULM Campus Activities Board (CAB), is the largest gathering of activities and social events for ULM students all year. The event lasts for five days and is packed full of activities for students to enjoy day and night. Events are free to all ULM students. Please note that most of the events are for ULM student's only-except for the Music Fest on Thursday, where members of the community are encouraged to attend. Next week during Spring Fever's Music Fest, rapper Tone-Loc will perform. Tone-Loc is widely known for his two big hits "Wild Thing" and "Funky Cold Medina." His performance is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 14th in the Quad (the area between the WigWam and the SUB). Right after Tone Loc, rapper Lil' Flip, best known for his hit, "Sunshine," will hit the stage. Other performers during Music Fest include: Johnny O'Neal, Waiting for Isaac, and Molly Ringwalds. This year, to encourage students to attend Spring Fever Week there will be a giveaway of $500 and a car from Van Trow Toyota. To be eligible for the drawing, students are required to attend six events during Spring Fever beginning with the Festival in the Quad on Monday.
